This is what the Aboriginal Tent Embassy in Canberra has resulted in.
A brutal attack on the Prime Minister of Australia and the Leader of the Opposition.
There can be no doubt that today's Aboriginal Tent Embassy is an illegal symbol of racism, and division. One which is trying to create two Australias, and demand that people be treated not on the basis of their character, but by the colour of their skin.

The Tent Embassy's continued existence will ensure that true reconcilliation can never take place. And, I strongly suspect, creates an atmosphere where brutal mob violence such as occured yesterday becomes sadly inevitable.
The time has come for the Australian Government and the Australian Federal Police to shut down this atrocity once and for all, so we can move forward as Australians.
Even former NSW Labor Premier Bob Carr agrees that it's time for the tent embassy to be shut down.
